Arizona Community Physicians

Founded in 1994, Arizona Community Physicians is a physician-owned, predominantly primary care medical group practice, with offices in Tucson, Oro Valley, and Green Valley. Since its inception, ACP’s goal has been to be a patient-centered, full-service, physician-owned medical group providing comprehensive outpatient services. We strive to develop personal, long-term relationships between our patients and their physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and ACP office staff.

Front Office Specialist (Patient Care Representative) - Provides administrative customer service to patients with primary duties including arriving patients, completing check-in and check-out processes involving registration and appointment scheduling, accurate data entry, insurance verification, collecting co-pays, record-keeping, and forms completion.

 

Medical Assistant (MA) - Provides skilled and compassionate clinical support to our patients and providers. Verifies patient information by interviewing patients, recording medical history, and confirming purpose of visit. Prepares patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature; reporting patient history summary. Medical Assistant Certificate is required from an approved accredited educational institution.

 

Population Health Specialist -This position requires experience working as a Medical Assistant in a primary care setting. Population health duties will support our Care Coordination team, including administrative functions of confidential medical record review, continuum of care referrals, patient education, and other outreach efforts involved in Care Coordination and Chronic Care Management.

 

Medical Billing Specialist - Responsible for the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of the patient billing and accounting. Regularly communicates with patients, third-party payers, and employees with the expectation to provide outstanding customer service including timely follow-up and resolution of issues.

 

Medical Patient Phone Operator - This is a patient customer service role with primary duties including answering and facilitating incoming patient calls to our Central Billing Office. Patient calls may include inquiries about billing statements, payments, insurance claim processing, and other related needs. Also provides support to billing team members involving claims management and other billing and collection processes.

 

Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Under the supervision of the Physician, the Nurse Practitioner collaborates in providing primary care medical services to patients in accordance with the guidelines of the Arizona State Board of Medical Examiners governing Nurse Practitioners.

 

Ultrasound Technologist (Per Diem) - Operates specialized equipment to create generate images (sonograms) of internal body structures, organs, tissues, and blood flow. Aids physicians to diagnose conditions by preparing patients for exams, positioning them, operating the ultrasound equipment, capturing high-quality images, analyzing findings for abnormalities, and documenting results for review. Preferred Experience/Qualifications: Current certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers. Current CPR certification. Breast Ultrasound experience is a plus.

 

IS Epic Cadence Prelude Analyst - Works closely with other departments and operational leadership to translate business needs into electronic medical records (EMR) functionality. Performs unit testing and creates complex integrated testing scripts used to perform detailed quality assurance within multiple systems and applications prior to release of new functionality to end-users. Assesses implementation strategies and the impact those strategies will have on workflows and operations.  

 

 IS Lead Client Services Technician -   Serves as the senior technical lead and provides day-to-day guidance, mentoring, and escalation support for Helpdesk staff. This role combines advanced end-user support leadership with junior-level  systems administration responsibilities. The Lead Client Services Technician is responsible for resolving complex endpoint and user support issues, improving support processes, assisting with software deployment and endpoint management, and supporting core Microsoft infrastructure and related enterprise technologies.
